NotesThis 1991 study reports on the results of a survey done in the summer of 1990 on social change in Oregon coastal communities:. Surveys were taken in Garibaldi/Rockaway Beach, Yachats and Gold Beach. All communities were experiencing population growth, had employment issues in common, and had economies dependent on recreation and tourism. These and other issues are explored in this report. “A report produced by Oregon State University in cooperation with Oregon Sea Grant and the Oregon Coastal Zone Management Association, Inc. with funding assistance from the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development, Ocean/Coastal Program.” (from front cover)
