Notes | A commensal feeder is a species that eats “from the same table’ as the host species, benefitting from the host’s feeding habits, but not harming the host. This article describes an annelid worm that benefits from its association with crawdads. The author looked at crawdads from British Columbia to northern California. Some of the crawdads that had this little worm associated with them were found in the Yachats River, “1 mile east of Yachats.” |
