NotesThe Neptune archeological site is located less than 3 miles south of Yachats on the Oregon coast. Several of the shellfish species mentioned in this study originated in the Yachats River. This is a nice report on shellfish remains at the site. Tables give the environmental requirements of shellfish and identify which species appeared at which archeological sites. Includes maps, photographs of tools.
